GIVING BACK TO THOSE WHO SERVED
Inspiration Behind Our Mission
The Healing Hands for Heroes Foundation was established to bridge the gap between service and recovery. We believe that those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our community deserve a path to wellness that is free from financial burden. Our story is rooted in the deep respect we hold for military veterans and first responders, and our commitment to supporting their long-term recovery through trauma-informed care.
Specialized Trauma-Informed Training
Trauma-Informed Care
Our licensed massage therapists receive specialized training in trauma-informed practice and the unique considerations of working with individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress. Sessions are structured to support nervous system recovery in a safe, respectful environment.
Nervous System Regulation
We specialize in somatic techniques that help regulate the sympathetic nervous system, directly addressing the impact of high-stress service.
Service-Specific Clinical Care
Our therapists combine clinical excellence with a deep understanding of the unique psychological needs of veterans and first responders.
Our Founder
Danielle Gray, LMT
Danielle Gray is a licensed massage therapist and the founder of Healing Hands for Heroes Foundation. After building a successful private practice in Caroline County, she identified a consistent and unmet need for accessible therapeutic care among military members and first responders experiencing chronic pain and service-related stress.
With advanced training in trauma-informed massage therapy, PTSD-informed care, addiction recovery support, and geriatric massage, Danielle brings both clinical expertise and community insight to the foundation’s mission. Her vision is to remove financial barriers to care while maintaining professional standards, measurable outcomes, and sustainable program growth.
